01 / MY STORY
Hi, I’m
Silvia.

FROM PADUA TO THE ALPS
From a game to a way of life.
Originally from Padua, I was soon adopted by different corners of the Alps, which have gradually become the place I now call home.
I grew up in a city, far from the high mountains that now shape my everyday life. Yet from an early age, my family introduced me to the outdoors, passing on a love for nature, movement and exploration that naturally became part of who I am.
What began as a game gradually became a way of life: an instinctive need to keep exploring, learning and dedicating my life to alpinism.
Alongside this passion, I earned a degree in Geography and Tourism, driven by a curiosity to better understand the relationship between people, places and the way we experience them. Looking back, it feels like a natural extension of the path I was already following.
Since then, my life has become a continuous sequence of projects. Some take me to remote mountain ranges around the world, while others begin much closer to home, but they all share the same purpose: exploring new possibilities through alpinism.
Today, I'm driven by ambitious alpinism projects that challenge me both technically and creatively, whether in remote mountain ranges or closer to home. They demand preparation, commitment, strong partnerships and the willingness to embrace uncertainty.
